In light the local "Pink Up P.A." campaign, it seems useful to keep some of this article's suggestions in mind.
Plus, the article refers to an interesting book club read: Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry by Stacy Malkan. Check out the book's original blog website; it houses a wealth of disturbing research about several top names in beauty! Yikes! I'm glad I kicked that habit this year! Maybe this will convince a few more to do the same.
